He'll have floor to ceiling space to store all his books and have them at his fingertips as soon as he makes a quick jaunt downstairs.

Ami - A bookcase beside the bed would not be a good answer. We would then have books cascading into the bed and we'd wake up dead under an avalanche of philosophy books. And I like the word verification for other reasons. It bugs you. ;) And guaranteed the books are about none of the above. :D

Sabrina - My husband never goes anywhere without his books and his carry-on luggage always weighed more than a grown man when he flew somewhere. And your dream house is in the same neighborhood as my husbands! He's even been known to rewind a movie to look at the bookshelves. He likes to see, if he can recognize any of the books, too.

mrs.b - My husband said that your husband has already read all Louis Lamour books just by reading that one! :) It sounds like his grandfather is a very considerate sweetheart trying to make his grandson happy. That's neat. :)Confessions of a Closet Hoarder but you can call me Judyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09618687581973592183noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5544369219259741408.post-1807340030478583112010-01-31T19:03:16.073-07:002010-01-31T19:03:16.073-07:00My husband doesn't know how to read.
Just k...My husband doesn't know how to read.

Just kidding! He does however have about 100 Louis Lamour books. He has read a grand total of 1. Out of 100.
He mentioned one time that he would like to start reading Louis Lamour books to his grandfather and ever since then, Grandpa goes to every garage sale and Goodwill in town and buys them. They are just put in boxes and put into our closet. Frustrates me to no end but like you, am thankful it's books and not something else!mrs.boring stay at homerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07519025092675731316noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5544369219259741408.post-23188427782844771712010-01-31T14:28:33.027-07:002010-01-31T14:28:33.027-07:00Every time we move Ian and I spend days going thro...Every time we move Ian and I spend days going through the books. And would you mind taking the word verification thing off your comments?
It's a real pain in the ass.

I have been spammed precisely once in more than four years of blogging. Now if you're fond of word verification for other reasons, by all means ignore my request.

;)Amihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08353667980806676067noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5544369219259741408.post-32383341305134228282010-01-31T12:11:18.400-07:002010-01-31T12:11:18.400-07:00"and I'm thankful beyond thankful that bo..."and I'm thankful beyond thankful that books are his vice, instead of alcohol, drugs, porn or other women.
